Special treat today…a triple video special of footage from the U2/Pearl Jam concert here in Hawaii in December. Originally it was supposed to be U2 in April but they postponed. When they came back in December Pearl Jam was in town for their own show so they decided to join the bill. Made the 5 month delay well worth it. There was 50,000 people there and easily millions that wish they were. First is U2 doing Where the Streets Have no Name, then PJ doing Hawaii ‘78 which is a Hawaiian protest song done by local legend IZ. Some people cried…some even booed cause a white guy singing it. But that shows you how much it means. It was a cool moment. Last is U2 and PJ doing Neil Young’s Rockin’ in Free World. Obviously I was there, damn I miss concerts. It’s all amateur video but not bad. Enjoy.
