A-Bomb…doesn’t mean what it used to.

Oct. 2005 – .133 AVG 0 HR 0 RBI:  $26,000,000.00

Oct. 2006 – .071 AVG 0 HR 0 RBI:  $21,680,727.00

Oct. 2007 – .266 AVG 1 HR 1 RBI:  $22,708,525.00

Typical October performance by MLB’s highest paid player:  PRICELESS

There are some things $ can’t buy…namely playoff production from arguably the best player that will ever play “The Game”.

Goose

I'm 32. I am from and currently live in Syracuse. Because of this fact and the things I see on a daily basis here...I will be quite belligerent. I am looking forward to sumitting & reading many rants, where the only prescription for these people is...A SLAP IN THE FACE!

Does it matter Goose? Did you seriously go onto a website to research Arods pay and post season stats? All I can say is that the Mets have what…the second highest payroll in baseball and they were watching…I know you’ll say that it’s a typical response from a Yankee fan…but if you continue to trash the Yankees and their players you’re gonna have to relive the worst collapse in baseball history…lol. You told me at the house the other day that you didn’t care anymore and that you were beyond angry and all that….but on October 9th, you’re researching A-Rods pay and stats….it seems you care very much. LoL.
