So what’s with the latest media scare/hype/fad of finding lead in things? Seriously, I believe them and don’t think they’re lying about lead being in toy cars and dolls and things, but the latest find… lipstick? And why now? What about the last 30 years when lead was supposed to be gone from everything including gas, paint, and pencils? In the last 30 years nobody tested these things? Or is it just the manufacturers trying to pull a fast one, thinking that nobody will notice anymore? Is it still as dangerous as it was when it was banned from everything?
I don’t really care too much, but I just think it’s stupid. It just seems like such an arbitrary thing for people to be focusing on lately. Oh well, at least it’s not news about Britney, Blackwater, OJ, or kids bringing guns to school.
