Enough Of The Excuses.

Not his fault you can’t get it together.

As we all know Dog The Bounty Hunter is a big celeb here in Hawaii and a pretty well known guy on the mainland as well. His A & E show was one of the networks more popular series. Many of you probably heard what happened to Dog recently but if not read this article. Read Here

Now I am not at all saying it is ok to go around and drop N bombs or any other racial slurs any time you feel like it. It is inappropriate in so many ways. But what I am saying is that I am tired of douchebags like Al Sharpton using incidents like this as well as the Don Imus Rutgers basketball team incident as an excuse. Every time a white celeb gets caught saying something stupid here comes Al and his pals at the NAACP to cry, “See, this is why we are being held down and can’t get it together!” Bull$hit. I don’t have time to write all my opinions and feelings on this topic because it would end up as a 20 page paper. But all I am saying is enough of the excuses, enough with the masking of the real problems in the African American community with crap like this. The reason that group has so many social and economic problems goes WAY beyond Dog using the N word. Stop making excuses and get your $hit together!

Simple question. I can point out several people I know that are maybe 1st or 2nd generation Americans who’s family came from many different places, spoke no english, had no money and faced just as much prejudice as anyone else. Yet in only one generation they were able to make a great life for themselves and their families. So why is it after 200+ years such a large amount of African Americans STILL can’t get their $hit together? It’s not Dog or Imus….I will leave it at that. But this Book says it all—–>

I read in the paper yesterday that because of this incident, they had a 150-person rally at a local Baptist church her in Hawaii. Are you kidding me? Do people really need to have a rally because someone drops the “n-bomb?”

The paper quoted a professor at UH as saying that the n-word is like showing a swastika to a Jew. Well, I’ll tell you what – The Nazis called Jews Jews during all this, and apparently they’re still okay with it. And the swastika has come to mean a lot more than just the holocaust, it’s really a symbol for all racism, as used by modern-day skinheads. So maybe instead of calling black people by the n-word, we could just show them a huge wooden ship or a cotton gin? Maybe a bottle of Aunt Jemima? Why isn’t that offensive?

And I agree with you, Mark. I don’t think the using of a word actually holds people down. If it were as bad as they’re claiming it is, and really hurts them as a people as much as they claim, then why is it used in rap music and by black people all over the place? And I know this is a common argument, but think about it — even if I don’t as a result of all that use the word, I am desensitized to it, and I don’t even listen to rap. Imagine all the people that do, and how minor it must sound to them when the word is used. So much in fact, they’ll use it themselves. To me it seems like it’s only these suit-wearing, money-grubbing clowns in the NAACP (part of which stands for “colored people,” which they stopped wanting to be called around the 60s or 70s) that seem to get up in arms over it. If they really want it to stop, they’re going to have to get their own people to stop using it first, and get their shit together like you said, Mark, and stop all this crap about being held down.

Mark very well said. Bill Cosby is one of my new heroes for calling out all these underachieving lazy people. I do not encourage the use of n-nombs either…it’s innappropriate…period. My point is this. At some point, regardless of your upbringing, you know right from wrong. You know that those drugs you’re doing or dealing are illegal or you wouldn’t have to sneak around to get them or sell them. You know that killing someone will land you in jail….that is unless you spent the first 25 years of your life living in the outback of New Guinea. You know that if you don’t graduate high school, the chances of landing that opening for the CFO position at a Fortune 500 company is slim to none.

So knowing all of these things, why would someone not want to better themselves and stay out of “federal pound you in the ass” prison? It’s because people like Sharpton and Jackson, and all of these other douchebags are constantly planting the seeds of failure into their peoples heads! If the black people that act stupid, stopped acting stupid those good for nothings wouldn’t be relevant anymore.

Imagine if someone started an “all-white” college. Why is it okay for black comedians to call white people crackers and make fun of us? Why is it that I scored a 97 on the NYS Troopers exam and my friend Jeff that is black scored an 85 and he got called before I did? It’s stupid….i get so pissed about this…I treat everyone the way they deserve to be treated. I’m not racist in the least…but if you act like a moron, regardless of your race…that’s the way I’m gonna treat you and think about you.

I got a 94 on the same test and I also got called before you did….I must not be as pasty as you. lmao..

I’m a little late, but the reason why there are so many problems isn’t with the symptoms, but the cause. We still experience the effects of that oppression and benefit from it. Sure, this kind of thing is mostly relegated to the ghettos, but the real question is Why they exist and Why there are fewer social resources for those areas. I’m not saying that personal responsibility doesn’t play a part, but it’s Very difficult to overcome the socialization that takes place when you grow up in those areas, whether you’re black or white. There are intangible benefits to growing up and being in a higher income area. And once again, that’s what socialization is.

Garbage…why is it that some people make it out of the ghetto and some don’t? I’ll tell you. because most of the time the kids parents actually take responsibility and show the kid right from wrong. As an adult you can differentiate between right and wrong no matter how rich or poor you are. There are laws and standards and we are all aware of them…if you want your child to do better than you did, it’s very simple. be responsible and make them pay attention in school, monitor their friendships and when they are allowed outside, in other words….be a parent. If parents would do their job, this whole thing would just go away…with the exception of the few “bad apples” that will make bad decisions no matter what…I just think parents are the answer to almost every problem in the “ghetto” white or black.
