If you didn’t tune in to Sportscenter last night…you missed Top Play #3 when blue-chip freshman Jonny Flynn split the lane and delivered a no look bounce pass to fellow blue-chip and McDonald’s All American Donte Greene who dunked one handed from the baseline.  And if any of you have seen this team play, you’re as excited as I am.  With the #2 recruiting class in the nation SU has a starting lineup consisting of two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior, but has shown poise and ability that not many young teams can duplicate.  Point guard Jonny Flynn broke Carmelo Anthony’s freshman debut scoring record in the 1st preseason NIT game and backed it up with a game winning 3 pointer the 2nd game against St. Joes and that stupid f*cking owl mascot that flaps his bony f*cking arms all f*ckin game long.  Sorry, as you can see I have an issue with that dude.  Donte Greene has been better than advertised.  A 6′10″ power forward that has NBA range with his jumper.  Although he really hasn’t lit it up yet in the interior, he will have his chance when gets to enjoy those Big East grinders that every team in the Big East has to endure.  The other 2 freshman Rick Jackson & Scoop Jardine will make an impact too.  Jackson is a rebounding machine.  Bring in the only returning starter Devendorf,  the linebacker playing guard Paul Harris, and manchild Onuaku who broke the backboard on a dunk at Midnight Madness…you have the makings of a very talented team.  Even with Andy Rautins out all year with a torn knee ligament, this team can put up some great numbers on the offensive end.  Only thing that is going to hinder them this year is that they are young and will make a lot of mistakes.  They are turning the ball over way too much and take some stupid shots.  But Jim Boeheim has them playing aggressive and is letting them make plays which I love.   This team is a definite for the tournament and could be a Final Four sleeper.  The last time I was this excited at the dome, I was 15 beers deep and picturing “braces” taking my &@#! and putting it inside her @#!$% while my fingers are &*%$@ her right in her %$&@#@!!!!
