America Grew a Brain

That’s my opinion anyway. See I could care less about religion, if you do that’s fine. But it should have nothing to do with voting for a president. If you took the South and Midwest out of the equation there would never be a Conservative in any office, except maybe Ron Paul but he is way outside the box of the Republican Party. I don’t care what church Obama went to. Can anyone honestly tell me they think our president is going to rise up against the white man because he once had a pastor that was a bit insane. Newsflash, most hardcore Christian leaders are in fact crazy and fanatical about something. It’s all brainwashing to me on some level. That is why it should play no role in the voting process. It’s all scare tactics by the right that have been trying to scare us all for years. Remember the terror rating system we used to have that was meant to scare you on a daily basis. It’s an orange day, it’s a yellow day….gimme a break. I’m not scared, if it happens, it happens. Every president will do his part to protect us all. Bush used it as a tool and I hate him but at least he was trying make us safe and Obama will too. If you think otherwise, you’re insane.

It was time because the last 8 years were a disaster on EVERY level. This whole Socialism tactic. Again, gimme a break. I find it strange that many Conservatives claim to be Christian on some level. I am no bible expert but I do know that you are supposed to help your fellow man. Not be a selfish prick that only cares about you and your agenda. Yet it sounds like they are afraid to do just that. They think all liberals want to just give or receive “handouts.” Come on, there will be lazy people out there, sure. But the vast majority of people are not struggling and just looking for handouts because they don’t want to work. They work hard every day to support themselves and their family and if they need a little extra help from their government, which is supposed to help and support it’s people in every way it can, it’s not a horrible thing. Boo hoo, you pay a little extra in taxes. If you have enough money to qualify for a tax increase then you do not need to worry about money to begin with. Go cry, I don’t care. If I won 10 million bucks today I would not change my views one bit.

The economy is a mess. Well, who was in charge when this disaster took place? I believe when Clinton was president we had massive surplus and people were doing fine. Then came Bush, a unnecessary war and now we are all buried and the debt has reached the trillions. Awesome, for what? The thousands of dead soldiers and their grieving families that died for a lie. Sweet. Where are those WMD’s again? People talk about Iraq policy, stay or go? When? How? We shouldn’t even be there! How about that strategy?? National security? Maybe if all our troops were not stuck in Iraq we would have a greater sense of national security. If we were tested today by a foreign power like China, North Korea or Russia as they want us to fear we WOULD be fucked. But whose fault is that?

Obama said himself that it won’t happen overnight. It may take years to get things back on track. But the fact is what was being done was not only NOT working it was making things worse. So if the worst that we all did collectively was say “F*ck this, I want a change, a new hope”, I can live with that. History was made and I know Jed and the boys in Alabama, or Bubba in Texas don’t want a black man in the white house but there is and believe it or not he is working for you working class rednecks too. So deal with it. I’m proud to have been a small part of this huge change and step forward in America. Just the fact a black man is president shows the whole world we have finally moved forward. Now I have to go report to my mandatory Socialistic reeducation program. Talk to you soon.
