What the Dilly, O?

Presidential Inaguration: $170 Million.

Reinstating funding for stem cell research: some of $10 billion allocated to health care and research, despite over 4.5 billion already pledged by states.

Reinstating funding to UNFPA – $35 million per year (reinstates funding for “population control” [including abortions] in third world countries)

Some other stuff:

• A $65 billion-a-year health plan
• $15 billion in green energy spending
• $85 billion in tax cuts and credits
• A $25 billion-a-year increase in foreign aid
• $18 billion a year in education spending
• $3.5 billion for a national service plan

And still more:

• Financial services bailout—estimated at $2 trillion (so far).

• Economic recovery and stimulus package—$788 billion (so far, with another $750 billion being discussed)

• Catchall stopgap federal spending bill—$410 billion

• Foreclosure bailout plan—$275 billion

• Automakers bailout—$13.4 billion +
  

Telling all your liberal friends that Obama is in fact NOT a superhero, superman, or the greatest thing since grape drink? Priceless.

All together? A projected spending of $800 billion over four years.

I think you all get the point.  So, in this time of economic armageddon in the U.S., I’m asking President Obama, “What the dilly, O?” Instead of saving us he’s making us hemmorage money. Sorry, but America’s future is more important than giving abortions to women with HIV/AIDS in far off countries. Stem cell research, before I get nasty comments, I’m not opposed to. But even after 4.5 billion dollars pledged by states do we really need to throw in MORE money to it? Yeah, it may help us to live longer or whatever, but at the cost of what? Starving old homeless people because there’s no Social Security? There are other things I don’t disagree with, such as education spending and things like that, but seriously, a lot of this spending is to just “stick it in the eye” of Bush and the GOP. That’s dirty politics, and I don’t like it.

Sure “change” is good. But DOLLARS are a LOT better, Mr. President.
