Happy Belated 4th of July to everyone! I would have done this earlier but I had a 9:00 am wake up call by firecrackers being set off. Yeah, firecrackers… at 9:00am!!! Really now. Who lets thier 3 year light up a cherry bomb and fling it into the streets while cars are driving by? Let alone, in the morning!???? I’m sorry, but if you didn’t notice, fireworks looks much better at night.

I was actually surprised this year; usually I hear fireworks day and night for a good week before and after the Fourth. I guess they all wasted them at the appropriate time this year. Or maybe they blew their fingers off so they can’t light any more. That’d be nice.
I was surprised too! Driving town bound, Waipahu was so clear and quiet!! Oh well, I guess people here with asthma got a sigh of relief.
